Web Browsing
Search the web and browse pages in real time as part of generating a cell's content.
Enabling web browsing
Web browsing is configured per column. Open the column settings and toggle Web Browsing on.
When enabled, it will:
- Search for relevant information based on your prompt and the row's data
- Visit and read the most relevant pages
- Use what it finds as context for generating the cell's answer
When to enable web browsing
Turn it on for columns that need:
- Current information (pricing, headcount, latest news, recent announcements)
- Public data that's not in your attached documents (company website content, LinkedIn profiles, job postings)
- URL lookup (finding the right homepage, LinkedIn URL, etc.)
Leave it off for columns that work from:
- Data already in the grid (other columns via @mentions)
- Uploaded documents (@document mentions)
- Static facts that don't change
Sources
Every cell generated with web browsing enabled includes a list of sources — the URLs visited and the information found there. Click into any cell to see:
- Source URLs
- A brief note on what was found at each source
