Cells

Cells hold the content in your grid. Each cell can be empty, AI-generated, or manually edited. Understanding cell states and how to work with them helps you get the most from your data.

Editing cells

Click any cell to select it, then click again (or press Enter) to enter edit mode. You can type, paste, or clear the content. Right-click a cell for a context menu: Additional information opens the right sidebar with reasoning, sources, and confidence; Regenerate reruns AI for that cell (AI columns only, except Document format); Delete row removes the selected row(s).

Editing AI-generated cells: Click into any AI-generated cell and type to override its value. Once you manually edit a cell, it is treated as user-owned — it will never be overwritten when you reprocess the grid, even if you click Process again.

A small visual indicator distinguishes AI-generated cells from manually-entered ones, so you always know the source of each value.

Confidence scores

Every AI-generated cell has a confidence score — a value between 0% and 100% that reflects how certain the answer is. You can see the score by hovering over a cell or clicking into it.

  • Above ~80% — Confident result. Spot-check these, but they're usually reliable.
  • 50–80% — Moderate confidence. Worth a quick review.
  • Below ~50% — Low confidence. Manually verify or regenerate.

Sources

When Web Browsing is enabled for a column, sources are tracked automatically for each answer. Click on an AI-generated cell to see the URLs that were consulted and a brief summary of what was found at each one. Click any source URL to open it in a new tab and verify the information yourself.

Giving feedback

Every AI-generated cell has a thumbs up and thumbs down button (visible when you click into the cell). Use these to signal whether the result was useful. You can add a short comment to explain what was wrong.
