Noric AI
Account & AI Access
Manage your account settings, configure AI access, and sign in with Google.
Signing in
There are two ways to sign in:
- Email and password — create an account with your email address
- Sign in with Google — connect your Google account for one-click login; your name and profile picture are synced automatically
Setting up AI access
To use AI features (column generation, chat assistant, prompt improver), you need AI access. Choose hosted (subscription, platform AI and credits) or own API key (BYOK):
Option 1: Hosted AI (subscription)
Subscribe in Settings → Usage & Billing. Hosted plans use the platform’s built-in AI and plan credits — no OpenAI key required.
Option 2: Own API-Key (your OpenAI key)
Own API-Key — enter your OpenAI API key to use AI features directly through your own account. Your key is encrypted at rest and is never logged, displayed, or returned to any client. It is only used to make AI calls on your behalf.
- Go to Settings → AI Access
- Choose "Use my own API key"
- Paste your OpenAI API key
- Click Save — the key is validated and stored encrypted
You can update or remove your API key at any time from the same settings panel. AI features are immediately disabled if you remove the key.
Credits and what uses them (hosted plans)
On a hosted plan, Settings → Usage & Billing shows your allowance, how much you have used this period, and any extra credits from one-time packs. Credits are consumed when cell AI jobs finish (for example after you click Process or regenerate a cell). Jobs that use web research or document parsing can use more credits than a simple generation.
The chat assistant and prompt improver are not billed against that same credit meter. If a run is blocked for billing, you will see a clear message from the app.
Profile settings
In Settings → Account, you can update your display name and email address. For Google-linked accounts, your name and profile photo are synced from Google automatically.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This is irreversible:
- Your login credentials are permanently removed
- All your grids, projects, columns, rows, and cell data are deleted
- All uploaded documents are deleted
- Your AI key (if set) is deleted
A confirmation dialog will ask you to confirm before anything is deleted. There is no grace period — deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
